Nansana Town Council is located 6km from Kampala on Hoima road with an estimated population of 200,000 out of which 90,000 are youth. It is estimated that out of the 90,000 only 20% are employed in and around Nansana Town Council.
It is out of this anomaly that Community micro finance limited decided to put in place a Youth Entrepreneurship Program.
The current capacity of Community micro finance ltd is not sufficient to assist all the 70,000 youth that are currently unemployed.

Access to financial services in Uganda stands at 20% which is very low and thus a very big gap. Community microfinance can only do so little about this gap.
